Your bike is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. So, if you are selling your bike look at this link to see what it is selling on Ebay for:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=bigdog%20motorcycle&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&rt=nc&_trksid=p2045573.m1684

Some got lucky, some not so lucky.... some were removed because they didn't sell at that price... I sold my 2004 chopper with $5k in upgrades for $7k when I had $17k in it.... 6 months on Ebay and 6 months on CL brought only $7k..... It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.... A hard pill to swallow but the the reality sets in...

When you think of what you can get for your bike and what you can buy with the money you can get for it, it might be worth keeping the dog...

I did, and I'm glad I did, whats it worth to you knowing some one else DID NOT screw with it, I wouldn't sell mine if some one offered me what I paid for it, why you say, because I can't get another like it. I am a very picky person and looked for several years at custom bikes until I saw the Mastiff.
Thats why every vehicle I have purchased since 74' has been new. Oh, except the Viper, that had 840 miles on it and I bought it from a collector.

And that's exactly what I'm talk'n bout! :old2: The love for our bikes is what makes the money worth it! If I could afford a new one or could'a back in 09 I would have done it in a second! :old2:

I could never get out of my Pro Sport what I have in it. I will ride it until I can't hold it up any more and then I will put a trike kit under it and ride it some more. I enjoy having a bike that stands out at a show or bike night. My only hope is that when I am dead and gone that some one gets it and keeps it alive and enjoys it as much as I do.

It's difficult to put a price on passion. Our bikes stand out among the crowds, that's one reason we love Big Dogs. All in all the value is what it's worth to you. When the day comes that my son is old enough, I'll teach him about engines and how to turn wrenches, and he will get my Big Dog. And for that, my Ridgeback is priceless.

I was thinking about selling or should I say trying to sell the Bulldog but with these bikes having little resale value I think it will become a parts bike. I can't use all the parts for the K9 but a lot will work.

It's a shame but parting it out will get you more cash just a PIA...

I just paid more for my BDM last week than any of them listed in your link. And it will never be for sale so resale value is not really an issue. Some can be had for good money though, so hopefully someone who rides them buys them.
