what is difference between wire plus and others

If your battery is too low then your battery is too low.
However, if you have some type of starter button circuit issue then the slam button will certainly help you.

I would still not recommend the WP system. It is not well developed and not reliable. It also massacres the wiring.

Wp and PDM is the best we got if you need to replace the ehc and add a single fire. I massacred the wiring for the wp and had to replace the switch module after a few years, but I don't regret making the change for more reliability IMO.

battery and starter are new but after sitting 3 days it wont have enough to start.
it seems that it would be so much easier to just re-wire it so everything is off when you turn off key. its not EFI and i dont see any reason to have a constant power supply to EHC.

You cannot eliminate the battery just because it is new. A few years back I purchased a new battery-only to have it fail in less than a week. It had a bad cell-and any brand CAN do this (although it is not common). No matter which way you go...I suspect you are going to save yourself a lot of headaches down the road if you keep it hooked up to a battery tender. Learn from those that have been down this road before. Good luck-and safe riding to you.

X2 on the Battery, and leave the EHC alone if it works... (I am still on my original one) and if one day it goes "tits up" then replace it with the new "EHC" from Curtis. I will not use WP or PDM for sure!

So, with all this mess I'm reading here, I have a question? Do we know if his compression reliefs are working???? Sorry, I didn't see anything mentioned about them and I didn't read between the lines! Just saying...:bang:

Did so said defendant take his battery out and have it load tested? It's flipp'in free, GO DO IT! Be done with that POS battery if it fails...

did further testing and yes I did find that the rear compression release did not work
I took the tank off to prepare to replace but found that the connecter pin was mis aligned and pushed out. fix the connector and CR is working.

then tested and found I was getting some battery draw from the voltage regulator which I posted on another thread. that will be the next project.
