Looking forward to retirement
Remember the hit & run that killed one of our Big Dog biker members at the Rally in Panama City in June. What happened to that asshole. I hate to see fallen members like this forgotten. Lot of riders this year getting hit by cars.

The guys name was Jim I think. He was a cop in Arkansas too. The guy that killed him was a real piece of shit. His family has pull in the town that it took place.

Yup, the dude had a history of arrests and drug charges. He was in his 50's and had a tremendous amount of money and pull in that town. He pulled out in front of our boy and left the scene of the accident.

His name was Joe, and chief of police in Lowell. The scumbag is out on bail untill all the proper legal procedures are exhausted. The DA is satisfied that we will nail the bastard to the wall but they have to make sure all theducks are in a row because of the money and politics that that family has at there disposal. The familys name is cristo, very well heeled in PCB. All I can say is we have the familys attention and they understand very well where Lowell Arkansas is. I am hoping that by the spring rally it will be finished so I can have some healing time .

The local chapter of Blue knights has had a challenge coin made in honor of Joe and we are selling them for 12.00 . The proceeds from this will go toward a scholarship award in Chief Joe Landers honor. If anyone is interested Pm me and I will set you up.

Thought I would give a update on this situation. Another pre-trial hearing was postponed on Dec. 6th just like the one in Oct and all the ones before. A new date of Jan 10th was set but it appears that the cristo family is spending big bucks to defense attorneys and maybe judges to keep this jerk out on the streets. Joes Birthday would have been Dec 9th and I was hopeing to have been able to have justice for Joe on his Birthday but It appears that wont happen. Im begining to think that maybe justice is simply a thing of the past.


One other thing I would like to mention is in Joes honor the local chapter of the Blue Knights have designed a Challenge Coin and has them for sale. The money made from the sale of these coins will go to print shirts also to sell during a honor ride on May 4th . All the profits will be put together so next December , some very needy and deserving children can have some hope and joy during the holidays. Joe grew up very poor and had a big heart for needy children and organized and participated in toy runs all over the country.. The May ride and the Dec.shopping will be a annual event .

If any one would like to purchase a Challenge coin they are 12.00. each. I cant get a picture up here but maybe my friend Ringo can take a pic of his coin and post it .

We had word this week from the Pros.Attorney and the word is that cristo will plead guilty of all charges in January. They were just stalling as long as they could to keep him out for the holidays. If thats the case then we will have to plead our deal for the sentencing so that the judge will give him maximum years. Plus Ill get to look that SOB. in the eyes and show him the wrath that he barely avoided that awful nite last April. :angry: The good side is we wont have a trial so maybe a couple of trips to florida this winter will wrap this up.
