Just purchased this bike - first big dog. Is the exhaust aftermarket? I'm thinking it's the V&H 2 into 1 bid radius - correct?. I think the baffles are out.

How do these stack up performance-wise? Should I add a high performance filter? It's EFI.

Congrats on the bike:2thumbs:. Yup on the pipes. You can add an aftermarket air filter later, get use to the bike first. Ride safe:whoop:

I'm sure there are 25,000 opinions, but how is the performance of these pipes? What's the best filter I should run?

Btw, my little guy looks a little upset because he really wanted me to buy the white w green flames big dog chopper that was also for sale. When I asked him why he excitedly walked through the whole bike pointing out styling cues. Very funny. :)

Congrats on the new scoot, the pipe you have on is a good aftermarket pipe. I would leave it on...

I have/had the same pipes. If baffles are out you are loosing a lot of torque. I had mine out and it fell on its face bad. Nice bike

Weird.. I have that same pipe. Mine feels like it falls on its face with the baffle in. With no baffle my bike makes 128 ft./lbs. of torque. They're all different I suppose. Also if you pull the baffle on that pipe put bolts back in the baffle bolt holes. If you don't the exhaust blows (out of the front bolt hole the worst) on your belt, and frame by the swingarm bolt, and discolors it.

Talked with V & H guy at Myrtle Beach Bike Week and he told me not to take the baffles out. He said I'd make more noise but less power.
