What exactly do i have here? *UPDATED PICS*

Title says 2004 Chopper. I have only had the bike for 6 months or so and have spent countless hours looking at pictures to try to find a similar bike and have not found anything very close.

the frame has a single tube from the front of engine to the forks and the stretch seems to be longer than others. I have a buddy with an 08 K-9 ridge back and his is not this long but seems like where the frame and forks meet it sits a little higher. i love the bike, it is a job to turn for sure.... im going to get some airbrush done soon to break the color up a little bit. in the sun its purple, i call it a midnight purple would also like to hide some of the damn lines hanging off of it everywhere!
basically im looking for a little info on this thing. has no book or anything with it.
only problem i have is that the plug under the seat comes loose every now and then when im riding and completely powers me down! lol

Looks like an 04 BDM Chopper with 12" or 14" uppers instead of 10" and more rake. Also a K9 is a K9 and a Ridgeback is a Ridgeback they aint the same bike.

Looks like a ridgeback. Something I noticed maybe on a DT frame possibly. But what I noticed that is even worse,, you got a hell a ous mole problem top left corner of the picture. Sweet looking scooter amyway! I like those pipes a lot!

Did Big Dog use single downtube frames?

It's got an aftermarket frame or they cut out the tubes and modified the front. Give us a close up shot of the neck and downtube. Does the VIN look etched like the pictures above or is it stamped or on a welded plate?

the vin looks just like the picture but painted over

a big problem i do have though is that i cant point the headlight down any lower and i cant see a damn thing at night!

Im with Moe here. Don't think BDM ever used a single downtube on any bike. They took the chopper frame cut it and put in a longer stretch, larger rake, and single downtube. Thats why the gas tank is not up further with your bars. looks like they added about 3" of stretch or so. I assume they modified the frame rather than go new due to costs. I like what they did, looks bad ass

Rear looks like a 03 or 04 Chopper, Struts and fender are the dead give-away of the Frame.

Here is another BD with a single downtube. Found it on Ebay. I didn't know they offered this either. Big Dog : Chopper in Big Dog | eBay Motorcycles

But if you look at the VIN # in the ad it sure dont look like a BD VIN.
And if you read the ad it states the parts are from here and there. Some BD some AI. Maybe thats what you have also.

here are some more pics, the one you found on ebay 'awg' is close but a different frame.
the rest of the bike seems to be classic big dog, 107s&s baker 6 speed, electronics, etc. would love some air ride though in the future!

that code says T4302 i think or 14302

also on the vin # obvieously its silver but there is also orange there, along i with the scratches on the bottom of the frame shows orange, i doubt that was a primer

I agree yours has the speedo and gas tank like a BD. I don't know. Can you get any info from the seller?

As far as your headlight goes, why don't you put a spacer under the mount thus giving you more room to aim down?

I'm hoping in on this conversation a min. First off Big Dog was supplied all there frames by Rolling Thunder in Canada ( Sam ) is the guys name. I personally talked to him on several occasions. I have a what was a 03 chopper until I modified the entire bike with all new parts and got rid of just about everything big dog on the bike. That bike looks like mine except your frame is different look at my showcase. Don't go by my rake and trees and fork tubes and all that cause all my shit is custom and not original. But body style wise look you will see it has same contour as mine. My bike came from factory though w/ 2 down tubes on front of frame not one. So I think you have a chopper

It's just a modified frame, nothing to be concerned about as long as the welds look good. Still a Big Dog.
