I have notised that the last couple off times when I went rideing. I pull into the garauge and try to put my bike in neautral, all of teh lights start flashing on my tac. They will flash 4 or 5 times and stop. What is causing this to happen?

That is your motor lugging, you need to bump up your idle, when you drop below 1k your motor lugs and the tac flashes, if im not mistaken big dog recommends that you dont allow this to happen.

They flash when RPM gets below 900 or 950. Turn up your idle some.

It will idle fine at low RPM the problem is you may not be oiling very well. The flashing lights are an indicator to up the RPMs so you do not damage your motor. The ignition module does record a low RPM condition and is visible to BDM on warranty claims.

Don't get in trouble like I have. I have almost 40 hours under 1000 RPM. Not good for the motor as Night Train states. This is what is sent to the company when you have warranty work. This also shows your rev limiter hits so be aware. I've posted this numerous times but for all you newbies out there.........

Just curious. My rid'n bud has an 03 Ironhorse with the 107 that he bought brand new. Hes always kept it idled way down and has just over 22K on it.(sounds freak'n awsome). . . How can the 107 be idled so low with no apparent damage? I have the 107 on my Indian and keep it idled up like the Dog.
