what does the datestamp on an Avon tire look like?

I know I did this backwards but seeing how new BigDog K9s are being built,I figured Id be ok. I looked for something that looks like a datestamp on my new tire and the only thing I found was a number that was 1417. I hope the 17 is for 2017?

That’s week 14 of 2017...early April 17.

Interesting. I wasn’t aware of this. I’m pretty sure my 04 still has the original rear tire. I’ll look and see to confirm.
