What came with your BigDog

I just took delivery of my 2008 rigid this morning (came by truck from TX to IL). I don't have any manuals, maintenance books, etc., just the key and some gas in the tank.

Shouldn't there be a book of something?

Well if it's brand new from a dealer then you should have gotten all the paper work, warranty and owners manual as well as a spare key.

Did you buy it new or used? If new then I would contact your dealer. If used then you can download the owners manual from the BD website or better yet buy a service manual from our sponsor Nelson (WB Cycles) then contact Big Dog Motorcycles about transferring your warranty over to you ($50).

If you bought it through a dealer...give them a call. Should be an owners manual. Got one with my 08 k-9. Pretty basic stuff...like how to check the oil, and tire pressures etc. Nothing really specific. Has a couple of pages for logging maintainence. I have been told if you get ahold of Nelson on this site you can actually get a Big Dog manual, but it too is a little lacking. Almost have to combine it with an old Harley manual, and an S&S manual for real technical info.

If new you should have received all the paper work with the bike. certificate of origin, delivery paperwork etc: I would call the dealer...

It's brand new (21 miles on her), no spare key, no books. I'll try the dealer (Strokers), initially the salesman said everything would be shipped with the bike.

Could be the delivery driver forgot to give you the package he had up front in the cab. But call Stokers and they should take care of you.

What I got with mine (and still got) is a constant black hole in my wallet and an ear to ear smile on my face every time I walk out to the garage!!
