What Brand of Gas?

I was useing "Shell" brand premium gas, 93 octane. My 08 k9 would cough, sputter and die sometimes at low speed or idle. Talked to Rodney at Rodney's Cycle House about it. Told him what I was useing. He said switch to Exxon or any other brand and I shouldn't have any more problems. Dam if he wasn't right. What brand does everyone else use?

I put Shell 93 in mine and have had coughing at times. May give that a try!! I know Terry didn't come up with that. LOl

Ive run 89 octain in my 05 ridgeback no differ than 93 bp or getty

Citgo 93 octane. Citgo is the only brand gas (Florida Tampa Bay area) that comes pre-blended at the refinery with the additives for each grade, and barged here that way. The rest are blended at the gas holes (where tankers fill). I was a gas tanker driver, for awhile. My S&S 107 Pit Bull, runs great on this gas...:up:
PS: If you should see a tanker droping gas, or just left a gas station, buy somewhere else. All the crap at the bottom of the tank, gets stired up.

I use Hess 93 now. Was using a local station, but the dog started running rough at idle and stalling. No problems now after switching.

I use anything except for Shell or Arco (AM/PM). I perfer Chevron, Mobile or 76.

Sunoco 93 contains no ethanol here in my area

Is ethanol bad to use? It seems like everything in the IA and IL all use Ethanol!!!

I run RaceWay, Sam's, Murphy, Hess...........You will not catch me in an Exxon, or now BP.....If I want to blow-out the cobwebs I fill up with 100 octane at Pumper's

the question should be..... how long has that 93 ocatne been in the tanks??? I bet it doesnt get filled everry week like the other fuel does!!! now would you be better to buy 87 and add octane booster???

I just let the rest of the bikes fill up on the low use 93 then gas up. I WILL pass them in a few moments !!!!:roll:
