Did we remove a plastic fairing side; a windshield; plastic on plastic over each other; hole in frame to mount a plastic whatever? We have screws that size left over too? We have plastic washers under the head of that screw? Then it's plastic washer over plastic cover/shield/assy/fairing/etc.

See how the one is sitting on it's flat side? That's the blind side you push into said plastic/frame hole/etc. The round belly was never there when new think. Think of that top diameter and the crusty bottom as the original diameter and you have to remember that when both plastics lined up, that screw/blind ring began to collapse on both plastic holes and that belly locked over the top plastic side so it would not move up and fly off.

What did you tear into? Is it all back together? If so ride it and see what falls off!

I just assumed he was working on his 03. There are no plastic covers, the battery is surrounded by the oil tank. If it is the 03 your working on, the only thing I can guess is they push in the rear fender to hold the EHC, or ignition module

03 Chopper. I was thinking EHC, Ignition Module as well but they screwed into the fender
fine. Guess I'll find out if something starts to rattle. I took it down for paint, so very little had to come off.
I'll post some pics when I get a chance to roll it outside. Prowler Burnt Orange w/Black, couple coats
of Pearl, makes the metallic change from green, red, gold. Just something simple not too flashy.
