Old high school/boy scout/riding buddy lives in West.

He and his immediate family are ok. Being 5 miles from the blast site he is lucky.

Says it is pretty bad there and his wife as a nurse was at the triage center last night.

As a runner she was already feeling bad with the Marathon deal, now this.

Hoping they get the help they need both physicly and mentally as it really is ugly there.

Condolences and prayers for all the people of West Texas, not looking good at all for the destruction out there and I pray that as they go through the debries and devestation that the numbers do not go up anymore, even though most likely it will.

Been a very bad week for us in the USA this week, pray that there is no more tragedies that occur for a very long time if not ever.

Texas had a bad week,condolences to the victims of that explosion,hope they get the help they need!!!

Bud says he is really proud of his town and old college.

Says people have really pulled together and A&M students came up with a tractor trailer full of stuff and $15k in cash to help.

He also said the Knights of Colombus were extremely helpful and were helping a lot. He said if anyone wanted to help this has been setup. www.kofc.org/texas
