Went down Today

Well I`m sitting healing up from going down on my bike today. Of course I blame myself for the incident. Although law enforcement blame the Budget rental truck for not have working lights on the back of the truck I should have anticipated what was going to happen. He was making a left hand turn so I thought ,so I ended up trying to pass him on the right, well guess what ,he came right into my path. I almost got around him but caught his front tire and it took me down. It could have been much worse. So hopefully with the police report ,budgets insurance company will cover the repairs. So I just have to wait and see. Lucky is was my Harley and not the big dog, which I`m , still waiting for my motor ,but ,that`s a whole story in itself. Time will tell. The bottom line is I walked away.

Glad your OK bro. I would guess its a good thing you got swiped by a big box store, you would guess they will pay up for what ever it takes to avoid a law suit of any kind.

Whew,, when I saw went down I thought Oh ( geuss the rest) . Glad you came out better than it could have been. The first thought after oh ,,,,, was the same thing happened went I used to ride a moderately fast Suzuki and thought I was bullet proof. I did everything but lay it down as I corrected at a high rate of speed and barely missed a truck bumper by millimeters. Glad you are ok !

Got that right, I was lucky. I like never assume anything. I know better too. I have driven maybe 200,000 miles in the last 15 years and this is my first incident. Like I said I blame myself ,I should have never got that complacent of that aggressive to not have anticipated what was going to happen. So it`s a big wake up call for me.
So now I have to get my chopper back on the road ,because the only thing I thought was what am I going to ride now.
