Finally rode my bike without a helmet around the neighborhood, and ID’d what the scraping noise was (hint: it wasn’t my brake caliper). That’s the rear bearing with the ball bearings OUTSIDE the housing. Mo’ horsepower mo’ problems. Lol
Was this the noise you were looking for, or did this just happen on your ride around the neighborhood? Imagine booking down the interstate and having it happen ! Don't even want to think about that!
Wow! Looks like the small spacer is definitely toast and yeah it is certainly good you found that before any more damage occurs. Good luck on the repairs!
