No more riding till spring for me...

Monday, I changed the oil and serviced both the Phoenix and the wife's Sporty. Then slid the lift over and set the garage up to accept the wife's car for the winter season.

Its is sad
:(

Gas....Sorry to hear the bad news! This time of year...I wish everybody had a little bit of the FL. Keys weather....but, that being said...wouldn't want to wish the hurricane season on anybody. Take a break this winter...and head south for a few good days of Island riding!!!! Be my pleasure to have a bunch of ya'll!!!
Stayn' warm,
Marc

WTF??

Yup, winter is cold, for sure.

Try putting electric riding gear on or bundle up, but whatever you do, do not give up...:D

I feel your pain buddy. Mine went in the corner about a week ago. Brought the sleds up into position. Just waiting for snow now. I agree about the salt. Roads are already white here also. Can see the salt dust when following other vehicles. Glad i'm not on a salt free diet.

Yep mine goes away after first salting, doesn't come back out till after a few rain rinses in the spring. I'm just not use to having it happen till December, even had it be January before...

Trailer them out West for a desert ride....or a quick weekender somewhere and rent a road glide for a fix.

Same thing here Gman, it was a sad day here about two weeks ago when the dog and the ultra got a few things done to them and then packed away. :(

Done in the Northeast too. They already threw salt on the roads and that stuff does a # on polished aluminum.

Gas Man- I'm there too, dude...and yes, it sucks. I love the other 3 seasons of the Midwest though, so I guess there's trade-offs no matter what.

Kam... its really me that wants her car in the garage... she could care less. But I prefer to "take care of her" when I can.

64... that is a nelson riggs XXL cloth cover. Ordered it a while back. I actually have one that fits the wife's sporty (minus the windshield). But as you can see with the windshield she uses my outdoor nelson riggs XXL

That really bites. That sure reminds us down here in Texas how good we really got it. Sorry to hear that Gas. They are predicting a colder than average winter here though. With all this moisture it could be bad.
