So I have found another K9. I miss mine too damn much!!! Gonna get it bought and "pound" away. My last one was a damn good bike. Bought it cheap and made money on the resale. Hated the color though. This one I'm gonna buy, it's a K9 and the right color (for me anyways) black and chrome. Good stuff.....

So StreetHog what is your point? You are clever we are not? I never bought a BigDog to make money, I just like the fucking bike and will not sell it no matter what happens with the company. I loose money, so fucking what, at least I do something I love while loosing it.

Love my dog so much I own two of them couldn't careless about BDM going out. people build one off bikes and sell them all the time atleast there are vendors here with replacement parts that I support and some are even making parts like Curtis and his very nice luggage racks better than OEM luggage rack IMO

Love my dog so much I own two of them couldn't careless about BDM going out. people build one off bikes and sell them all the time atleast there are vendors here with replacement parts that I support and some are even making parts like Curtis and his very nice luggage racks better than OEM luggage rack IMO

I have always heard that a manufacturer must have replacements parts for 10 years. Even though BD is in Chapter ? I wonder if this would still apply, anyone know?

The other alternative is to buy another dog and use it for parts, they are pretty cheap now.

They are considered a custom manufacturer so the 10 year law doesn't apply.

BDM out of biz didn't make me flinch one bit when I bought my chopper. Cant imagine not being able to find a part for it, make a part for it, or buy a part for it from good folks like Curtis. I personally think there was not one other bike mfg. out there that even came close to being as cool as the BDM Chopper / K9. I love my 03 chopper and I'm making it exactly they way I want it and never plan on selling it.
