Weld or JB Weld

On my bagger I needed a special exhaust mount for my bike. (which I found) Now taking it apart I noticed my bracket broke. (See picture). My question is should I have it rewelded OR use JB Weld? I've used JB a few times before with good luck.

I would have it welded. If it supports your exhaust, vibration is your issue and JB weld is off the table in my opinion . Also judging by the looks of the first weld it was not a quality job so a new one may not be any better.

Actually, looking at it more, I'd re-engineer it a bit and replace the piece that broke off with one that was wrapped around the other piece and then welded. It would give it much more surface area for the weld.

Zero chance epoxy would hold up.
