Weird Problem

My 2005 117 died after running about 5 min then wouldn't start. I let it sit for a while then it started and died right away. Funny thing is that when I press the run button(not the start button) it'll pop out the exhaust or even the intake depending, I suppose, the position of the engine and cams. It's never done that. Red light comes on, green, blue and red lights flash when I try to start. Then when I let off the start button, it'll back fire or spit out the carb. Help!!!!

Sounds like your ignition system is going bad.

Pull the cam sensor and clean.

Yeah I did that. Didn't help.

Try loosening your gas caps maybe your tanks arent venting. Its worth a try...

Yeah I did that too. Problem is that it fires when it shouldn't and doesn't when it should.:bang:

Check your spark plugs and wires, simple things first. Check your connections at the coil, right handle bar circuit board and ehc. Check all your connection to and from the ignition module.
