Thanks again everyone.* You were definitely the highlight of my birthday.* Yes, I am home and fine and slept pretty much all day today!

*

It did start out great.* I had so much fun last year and a few family members missed out, so I chose to go back on a VIP tour at Safari Sanctuary.* Can’t beat lovin’ on animals.* The guy there suggested a little Mexican joint around the corner for lunch afterward.* It was so hot that a big Mexican meal didn’t sound the best.* I basically just wanted a drink but I’m glad we stopped there.* The food was great and Mexican is my favorite.* After lunch I went home played with my own animals, jumped in the shower, threw on my birthday dress and I was off to be the ‘photography assistant’ at the Make-a-Wish Car Show.* After that I was having a big group dinner at Dave and Busters.*

*

I was less than a couple blocks away from the venue when I heard that unsettling and sadly familiar long tire squeal from behind!** Yes, I was rear ended 5 years ago which totaled my SUV.* My first thought was, ‘here we go again’ but the first words out of my mouth when I got out of the car were, ‘It’s my birthday! :( ’.* The guy who hit me never spoke a word to me.* I asked if he had insurance and he handed me the form.* He tried to back up at one point and I told him to stop and stay there.* The ladies in front of me who I got thrown into were afraid his car was going to explode!* They thought he should have a breatherlyzer done on him.* Another lady saw the whole thing and how crazy he was and said she’d give a statement.* *The Fire Dept. and EMSA guys were great…and cute too! They talked me into getting medical attention (without actually telling me what to do).* They asked me about the neck brace thing first.* The guy was holding it on me and I immediately felt like I couldn’t breathe…like I needed to pull the hard plastic away from my chin.* The 100 plus temps weren’t helping!* Next they asked about putting me on that board thing.* I had never been taken by ambulance so I said whatever you feel I need to do.* They have me lay on the board and start strapping me down all over…I kept telling myself to calm down then finally said…”I’m sorry, I can’t do this, please let me up!!”* The EMSA guys had me go sit in their vehicle and had a calming talk with me.* I decided to go with them without being restrained.* At that point I was so overheated, dehydrated, panicked, etc. that an IV and oxygen sounded like the best thing for me.* *The EMSA guy blew two veins while trying to get an IV in which wasn’t fun but I took almost a whole bag of fluid by the time I got to the hospital.* The ER was overcrowded because another hospital had a power outage.* I couldn’t get cell service while there.* 7 hours later, I was finally allowed to go home.* Just the usual whiplash/sprain/strain but everyone thought I needed to be checked over.* *Bed rest for the next couple days.*

All the tigers were all about the water…I don’t blame them…it took everything I had not to jump in with them!

My internet provider has been blocking the forum for a few days so let’s see how this goes via my phone without wifi!

Love to you all!
