Customer came in with an intermittent electrical failure.
He would be riding along and boom the bike would just shut down.
Still has electrical but motor dies.
He waits a few minutes, starts the bike again and goes.
Eventually it just stopped starting again.
Took some digging but this is what we found.
A burned pin in the ignition module connector.
No symptoms from outside the plug.
Inspected the wire and ran some load tests on it and found resistance.
Went through the wire and sure enough found a break.
Break in the wire was elevating the amps which burned the pin over time until it reached total failure.
