Change over to a triple XXX and you have the bucks go witha PSI. That will solve your problem.

Not if he cant tune a carb.

PSI, XXX, Zippers Super G are all better carbs but all need to be tuned. A/F mixture, accelerator pump, intermediate jet and main jet work together.

There are a lot of bikes with stock Super G carbs that work very well. S&S works very hard to provide good reliable motors. Follow Gas Man's thread and tune your carb.

sounds like the accelerator pump screw. If it rides fine except for when you get on it, then you need to open that one up a bit.

There is three adjustment screws on the super G. The accelerator pump screw is (sitting on bike looking down) the adjustment screw that is closest to the front wheel.

I have an 07 Mastiff as well with the V&H BR pipes and a stock SS carb. It took just a little tweaking with a flathead screwdriver to the idle mixture, idle throttle and acclerator pump screws, AFTER reading the SS manual, because I decided not to knobdick Matilda (that's my Mastiff). She runs beautifully now with immediate throttle response to piss off the corvette in the right lane. That should fix you right up for now. I'm not going to invest in something beyond my capability until I can, with assurance, know what the hell I'm doing.
