I'm not going to mention an upgrade but you might check with big dog. They may have what you need.

Just save your pennies and get the new module from BD. you will need the full harness version. Don't be fouled. The RIP module is a great unit and is built by a very reliable motorcycle eletronics supplier, same with the latching module. All functions work as they should and is very reliable.

PDM/HCIs have been LONG gone (for a reason).

I believe the above HCI is for the original OEM haarness, not the PDM. But then again I know very little about this stuff.

I believe the above HCI is for the original OEM haarness, not the PDM. But then again I know very little about this stuff.

It's for a PDM but it may not be the part that is broken that's just the hand control interface. Most likely the power module is what failed not this thing.

In my opinion not worth the risk. PDM don't exist anymore for a reason.

Thanks again, I took a look. the associated pt# is a different number ending 76-00. I believe the PDM HCI ends in 72-00. I checked with patsking who advised they are out. No difference, I decided to go a different route anyhow.
