I bought a 2007 Mastiff in Williams Bay Wi. last week and elected to ride it home to St. Louis, Mo. I made it Bloomington IL. before the starter went out. It was around 4pm and I call several local bike shops to no avail. The closest Harley dealer was an hour away, so I called them and explained my situation, they said we will come get you, we are not going to leave you stranded. Clayton picked the bike and me up and took me back to their dealership, nicest people I have met in awhile. So, if you are ever in the aera, I would suggest you stop in and say hello.

Side note, my buddy came from St. Louis and trailered my ass home, I will be buying his drinks for the next few years!

Happy to hear you got it home without too much stress. Starter failure is a bitch—on more than a couple of occasions Blacktopper used his 30 foot rope to pull start my K9. Don’t leave home without it!
We’ll look toward to seeing pics of your new Dog…….
