Jesse's *style* is a derivative of the Original West Coast "Outlaw" style that was started in the Bay Area and Frisco by the HAMC (originally the charter was started in Berdoo-or San Bernadino) with those sportster tanks with the tunnel taken out to mount on the frame backbone, huge risers with drag bars and extended front ends and chopped rear fender on a rigid frame.
More often than not they were running late pans and early shovels with "tin" primarys or an occasional open belt Panhead primary(late 50s in origin)
Kinda "bare minimalist" looking and in many ways appealing in a stripped down bare bones & dangerous kind of way.
It doesn't appeal to everyone ,but I do like that style with the modern twist of Big rear Tire,Big Motor and Disc Brakes that actually work
I also personally like the El Diablo frame with the holes in that single downtube -which are stronger than it appears -since the holes are gusseted thru-solid ,but the stretch and rake are doo dramatic for my tastes.
I'd liike to build one in a Pro-Street Style with NO "up" tube extension and just a 2" out stretch w/a 40 degree rake.(Single downtube of course)
Been thinking of doing that on the complete Raw 2006 Pitbull frame I have here now awaiting the "mad scientist" touch of mine......
I promised myself that before the mid January 2012 mark I'd have started it and lately I keep staring at it on the table lift
