VR went out. Is there any how to's with any tips on snaking that wire around thorugh the looms after installing a new one?

Have not seen one. Just follow the wire all the way back to the CB.

That is the plan... Looks like a tight one!!
Yes it can be a pain to do. Best way is to have the bike on a table lift and lift it as high as it will go. Then you can get under the bike and feed it along the frame. Just make sure you zip tye it back onto the frame. Don't want any wires hanging to hit on anything. Make sure you install the new Maxi Fuse that goes along with that updated VR. The Maxi Fuse takes the place of the CB.

It is a pretty easy job. Just take your time and route it like the old one. Just replace the ties when done and like bigdogtech01 said replace the CB with a fuse.

According to the dealer my '09 does not need the cb replaced with a fuse nordoes the cycle electric instructions mention that. The stock vr did have a hole burned through it and the b+ cable just fell off when I touched it.... Similar to that cats deal on this board where his flamed up on him...
