Better jump on one or the other before someone else makes a choice for you! I always go with gut on the first impression if I feel its a deal, because I have called too many times the next day to find out all my 'think'n' the night before was useless (it was sold).

I have been taking my 08 Mutt for a 1300 mile ride every year since I bought it without one single issue ever.... Love it.

I had a Deluxe before my K-9. I wouldn't trade my Big Dog for a Deluxe for anything. The Deluxe is not that comfortable. I am just as comfortable on my chopper for long rides as I was on the Deluxe. As for looks, no one will even notice you on a Deluxe if that's of concern for you. It is nice to pull up and have others checking out your bike all the time. I am considering selling my K-9 but will only do so for a Road Glide. If I ain't riding my beautiful chopper, then I am sure as hell going to be comfortable. More comfortable than a bike without a full fairing and a radio like the Deluxe.

If it's that deluxe in the picture it looks really damn nice. Although I don't know how comfortable that riding position will be...Those look like some pretty low beach bars.

That's a pretty pimped out Deluxe for sure. It looks pretty good but I doubt it would be any more comfortable than a BDM.
