voltage regulator

I have a 06 Pitbull,I got a recall from Big Dog stating there may be a potential problem with the regulator,has anyone has this done...

I checked mine (2 bolts - easy) drop it down and check the stamp. Third line of stamp number should start with 06 to be good. If 04 or 05 then replace. Mine was 06 ... WHEW!
