voltage regulator

Was there ever a recall on the voltage regulators? I searched around and couldn't find anything specifically but thought I remembered reading a post. Mine is toast. Off to see if the harley shop has one.

Just don't get a voltage regulator made in China. I did and it lasted a month....fried my new battery. It was a Drag Specialties type. Got same brand,but made in the USA. No problems.

06 Mastiff had one...don't know about your model.

There was for 05 and 06 years on some models. Thats the only ones I'm aware of.

2005 did for sure, but they never replaced them all. They put a inline fuse to protect the harness from being fried.....
