... a multimeter, i just bought and learning how to use, and when i turned the throttle the volts increased so i assume its working now
Volts: I'm a new battery and I should be at 12.8v, how do I look?
WATT: I see is a perfect reading off that new ohm meter ! do the work.
Volts: I just came back and it's 12.4v now watt
WATT: are you taking my line for, anyway, where is the battery charger?
Volts: You're right, either I ride it till it reads 12.8v or I have to go to bed.
WATT: are you clocking off the bike for? Get back on, it's more seat time charging up that new, you said new, right?
Volts: You know, that new battery charger is going to look good next to the ohm meter, I'm becoming more confident with, what did you say your name was?
WATT: is with the wise cracks. Get cracking on the charger, because everyday you lose 1% of charge a day so says Yuasa I believe.
Volts: You mean I walk away from that new battery and a month goes bye, it's 30% down?
WATT: have I been telling you about rules. You want the hot rod long lasting battery, it's cooking at a rate over 12.8v, lets be specific.
Volts: Well, since I could dip my gravity stick in the acid, read the specific gravity at 12.6v, we have sealed batteries, now. I guess 12.8v static is the number with a sealed one, correct?
WATT: it is, is yes, that's the battery you want to buy over the counter, because yours is taking ashit. Start riding it or charge it.
Volts: Hey, while I am out doing the ohm meter work, I set the meter to 20v, start the bike and watch the battery number at idle, correct?
WATT: say you look for 14v+ at idle. You hurt nada, crossing that wire. You ran total loss.
Volts: Oh right. I totally lost all that voltage back into the battery I used up, nor did replenish. It needs a charge or more riding to reach 12.8v static or better -wink-wink.
WATT: refuses to listen to the basics and ends in TT?
