Voltage monitor, your thoughts??

they don't call the phone -- they just beep -- send a notification to the app -- even if you're using headphones with music/gps all you'd hear likely is a beep (maybe a series of beeps if its something catastrophic -- which could be usefull -- ie turn around and head for home vs the hills).

I have the same guage setup that BWG56(Ker) has. Anything below 13 volts while I'm riding and I know I have a problem. I don't listen to headphones or music when I'm riding.....Like I said earlier, I ride to get away from phones, radio, or any other distraction. I guess I'm just old school that way.

I use the phone as a gps since there are so man roads I don't know done here and too many that are dirt and so many more than dead en 10 miles in!

I generally program the route on the computer and just have the thing warn me of turns (roads down here have multiple name, might be wesley rd or count rd 22-277 -- map might have it one way or the other at intersections -- missed my share of turns due to that.) And nothing about just goin that-a-way -- I do it often but its a little rougher here than in NJ and PA where I would do it all the time and never get lost (rest of my crew frequently did) but as my buddy in NJ used to say -- He was never lost -- he was just following me!
