Docs makes a similar light and it comes with a bracket to attach to the underside of the coil.

It's a bit more pricey but it works.

The one you got there will for sure work it's just a matter of where you put it. Wiring looks a little heavy to fit through the backbone. Just need some 22awg

:agree: Wiring looks pretty beefy for the function.

I figured I would Zip tie it facing up on the fuel line next to the carb or the air cleaner bracket.

Deltran -- the battery tender folks have a new one coming out to.

http://www.batterytender.com/future

Monitor it remotely thru your home wifi and your smart phone.

Hey, if everyone gets this a few hacks and we can tell who's battery is good for the entire site!

Not everything should be internet connected -- this should be a bluetooth device, unless your too lazy to walk into your mancave to know whether your battery is ok or not!.

That's pretty slick I have plenty of room under my seat for that I may have to go that route

So, your riding down the road and your vr or stator goes bad.......This thing is going to call your phone and tell you about.it.......Don't know about you.....But the first thing I do when I start riding is turn my phone off.

Like this! Let me look into this!

Looking at this as well

Watch out for excessive rights in the APP -- app for this wants location and files -- no need for that!

Check out
http://www.amazon.com/BatteryMole-M...batterymole&qid=1461004948&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1

App is small (307K so unlikely excess data is accessed).

they don't call the phone -- they just beep -- send a notification to the app -- even if you're using headphones with music/gps all you'd hear likely is a beep (maybe a series of beeps if its something catastrophic -- which could be usefull -- ie turn around and head for home vs the hills).

Agree.... The medical company I work for is in the development stage of proactive service notification of items or parts that need to be replaced prior to failure. For example if one of the measurement LEDs is getting to the point it needs to be replaced, it will notify our service engineers. Would love that information on the K9!

Agreed that would be great -- if we had the data format from S&S for Protune it would be doable maybe with a small arduino circuit with a bluetooth module.
