Hey you went with the fuel lifters over the S&S?

I gotta get rid of my ticking might have to send my heads off. Thinking replace the lifters first. I got the S&S heads I shouldn't have valve wear but who knows.

Yes. My S&S lifters had line marks all over them. I also put Harley EVO tappets on for better oil circulation....pull your rockers and look at the valve wear first....

If your lifters are ticking, pull your cam and look for wear marks.....

Also, clean your pushrods really well and your lifters....then adjust pushrods...it may just solve your ticking....

That's why this forum ROCKS!!!Thank you @BadDawg Bill for noticing smoke and I didn't even see it!!! I started it up again and taped it for you. It only does it on the FIRST start. I can shut it down, restart, no smoke...ride, let it warm up, no smoke...only on the first startup!!

Could it be fuel? It's not black, more blueish.....hahahahahah

Valve seals could cause the over night start oiling. Oil drops on top of valve when sitting. Burns off when running

That would be my next idea. I wouldn't worry about it for now. That motor sounds good. Put some miles on it and see what happens. Enjoy!
