After reading this last night I checked my motor mount bolt and could have unscrewd it with my hand. Thanks for the heads up guys. This site saves me from getting pissed off all the time.:2thumbs:

Marc, what pegs and grips does it have on it? I've done many cross country trips with my bike and even though it's a softail it still runs you ragged. First day after 12 hours on the bike your hand and feet go numb, second day you loose the feeling, third day I can't even sign a credit card reciept

I've posted on here many times...... Pull out those two top coil cover/motor mount bolts and replace them with 1/4-1/2" longer bolts. The tapped holes in the heads are deep but the short bolts that are used don't put enough threads in them. You won't have anymore problems with longer bolts.
