Vibration with passenger!

Thanks for the all the pointers but I am pretty sure it is in the engine, when I ride it is generally in the 2500 to 3000 rpm range and if I am cruising along and pull the clutch in and coast, the vibration is gone, so that tells me that it must be in the engine, even when I ride alone there is a slight vibration in the same RPM range, starts at 2500 and stops around 3000 or so, it is not very bad when I am by myself, when I add a passenger thats when it is really noticable, I just am not that sure on what could cause something like that, Cam, Clutch, Primary Drive, etc? I don't know, anyway thanks again for all the help guys, and like Fibersnake said, maybe the best option is to get her a bike and have her ride along with me instead!

You didn't mention how many miles you have on the bike but I would first check the slack in the primary chain then after that check the clutch unit to see if you broke the carrier.

I notice that you have an 05, not sure but does yours have the center consul like the Mastiff did in 05. The reason I ask, I have had vibration is the past and after doing all the checks and other items as mentioned, found it to be my tank and consul. I replaced the rubber bushing on the tank and readjusted the consul and those vibrations went away.

My biration were in the same range. I figured it out when I could push around on the tank when riding and would notice a change in the vibration noise.

That center consul is a PITA and tends to come loose and create all kinds of wried vibations and noise at certain range. Check your tank bushing also.

Correction! Notice that your's does not have the center consule or split tank, still check the mounts and bushing on yours also to make sure the tank is not loose and creating vibrations.

The bike has 15,000 mi on it, the mechanic at the big dog dealership was thinking that maybe the clutch basket could be broken or loose, also checking the primary chain is a good idea also, I am due for a service anyway so I might as well check it out, thanks for the help guys, I will keep you posted.
