just for starters, check your upper motor mounting bolt.

I bet its the difference going from your HD to a Dog. Was your HD a Twin Cam or rubber mount?

I think Thumper nailed it ... coming from any production bike your gonna feel like your sitting on a blender and will feel ALL the moving parts. Keep in mind as things start to wear in and you start getting use to it a big smile will stretch from ear to ear!! the day I rode mine home first thing I said was WTF was I thinking this is like riding a lawnmower on the street. After a while I started getting use to it and as I poured on the miles it just kept getting better. :2thumbs:

I reminded my buddy that he was not on a rubber mounted motor anymore, pushing a bigger engine and that vibration will be there.

Vibration wise, all these S&S motors wake up at 3000 RPM!

Not like those little HD motors!

I ride a '99 Sportster, which is a fuckin' vibrator.
The first time I rode Thumpers K-9, I couldn't keep my feet on the pegs.
BIG difference.

When I test rode my dog I thought holly shit!! My feet came off the pegs, hands shook. I couldnt belive the diffance from my 04 Sabre!!! :2thumbs:

I love the look on peoples faces at stop lights. I sit there with my hand resting on my legs while the mirrors/bars are shacking and the front tire is bouncing up and down like a ball. They have to be thinking that guys nutz to be rideing tht thing!!! :2thumbs:

I bet you are all right. I only have 1k miles on it and I believe I am getting more and more use to it. Sometimes you must just suck it up. I sure do love the looks at red lights. Smiling already! Thank you all.
