Hi guys. New to the pound (posted my intro). I have done numerous searches researching this question and have come up with conflicting information. VH says they do not make BR 2 into 2 for the 2004 Chopper, but I have seen numerous pictures of bikes with them on. I have found the BR for 86-11FLST/FXST. Anyone know if these will work if I fab a bracket? Thanks for the guidance.

Sorry RGV. I meant toi answer earlier. There are some guys that have them. They may have just gotten them for the softail harley and fabbed up their own brackets. As a matter of fact i think that one of the guys was just going through this. It was really tight. Hang tight and one of the other guys will chime in.

I have the big radius for softail on my 2003 chopper. The bracket that comes with it is offset by an inch or two. I made a flat, two dimensional version of that bracket that works perfect. The exhaust will be close to the frame, but prevents dragging on tight turns.

I tried it on a 04 Ridgeback. Problem was not enough clearence at the front brake control (without dimpling (beating) the pipe down) and would not have been able to get clearence at the rear due to the frame. It was super close!!! To make them work I would not have been able to cinch them down properly at the heads. I ditched them and bought a set of MB Daisycutters (transmission mounted LSD). Still close, but at least I was able to correctly mount them. My two pennies.

yes, my 04 chopper has br. They were already on the bike when I purchased it but I can tell you that whoever did the install eliminated the interference at the brake master cylinder not by dimpling the pipe or heat shield. they simply ground a slot in the master cyl. for the heat shield. I have since extended the fwd. controls which also clearly eliminates the interference issue. so I think those r ur options. let me know if you would like any close up photos.

Did you post any photos?

Who did you end up ordering the Daisy Cutters through? I'm considering them as an option on my 04 as well.
