I just received some parts that I ordered from Jireh Cycles and this flyer was in the box. This brand was new to me and since they have wide tires, I scanned it to share with the group.

These tires are evidently made in Thailand and here is their website (both home page and MC tires:

Vee Rubber| vehicle tires, motorcycle tires, bicycle tires , truck and biass tires

Motorcycle Tire

I have no idea of quality or durability, but maybe it provides another source of tires for Big Dogs.

In the current thread: http://www.bigdogbiker.com/forums/general/30719-metzler-sidewall-split.html alphadog stated: "I think Avon and Metzler are the only two companies making a 300/35r18 these days Shovel." So I thought maybe this was another source.

Anyone else know anything about these tires?

Good find Ken however I do not see a 300/35/18
They do have a 310/35/18 I wonder how this compares or it may rub on drive belt.

If they have 300 mm its worth a shot. I just got off the phone with Jireh Cycle and the only size close to the 300mm is the 310mm. Jireh said to check back because Vee Rubber will be adding additional sizes to there line up. :2thumbs:

I emailed Vee Rubber a few questions such as starting tread depth and if they knew it would fit a K-9. I'll keep you posted.

Nice find Shovel. I would like to see some reviews on it. A 310 tire means it is taller I think. Would be nice to see more mileage out of a tire.

VEERUBBER | TIRE
310mm is the width and 35 is the percent hieght of the tire to the width.
310mm=12.20" width
35mm=4.27" bead to top of crown

300mm=11.81" width

10mm is .39 or .19 a little more than 3/16 per side, thats going to hit the belt if it actually comes in at 310mm

I agree, but as near as I can tell, Avon is a company in Great Britain (Cooper tire company) and Metzler is a German company!

Dunlop is one of the oldest American tire companies.
