Vance & Hines short shots and paint

My 2009 Coyote has V&H short shots that empty onto the swingarm.. haven't ridden it much but I am concerned about burning or discoloring the paint on the swingarm...anyone have this setup?

Or I guess I should say very near the front of the swingarm not directly onto it

I have short shots. No harm to the powder coat on the swingarm but I do get some discoloration on the rear brake caliper (I have left side drive) and axle adjuster. It polishes right off, though.
