Vance&Hinds 2 into 1 exhaust

I talked to Bikers Dream and a tech guy at Vance & hinds yesterday about their 2-1 pipe for 07 and up Mastiff and K9. They are no longer in production, they may be later, but not as yesterday.

There are quite a few sets of these pipes that were made for the Ridgeback and 330 tire on Ebay for around half of what they normally sell for. Has anyone made or can make a bracket, so these pipes can be fitted for a K9 or Mastiff?

On a side note there was someone out of Kansas selling a lot of Big Dog parts on Ebay and all of a sudden they are all gone. Anybody have a clue?

That was Chris at BDM I believe selling those on eBay. And yes it will fit I was told. The answer I didn't get was how far it would stick out at the back due to it being made for a Ridgeback 330 tire vs your 300. I decided to call R&B and do the LSR 2into1 instead.

Well similar situation; as you mentioned, V&H made the 2/1 for the K9 (forget the part number) as I've had it on my bike. But not for the 250 Coyote; I've since relocated that pipe to the wife's 250 tire Coyote by fabricating a rear mount bracket using the stock exhaust bracket her bike came with.

It fits fine and looks great but will not work (easily) with rear pegs currently given the clearance to peg mount location. Even if I could have squeezed the peg mount in between there; I don't believe the peg riser offsets (that came with the pipe) are tall enough to clear the pipe anyway.

The point I guess is that I successfully used one made for a 300 on a 250 bike; I still don't like the sound of the pipe (even after punching the baffle plug) but it sure beats the stock exhaust that was on her bike imo. Looks great too.

Thanks for the reponses, I will wait and hopefully they start production again. When I spoke to the tech rep for Vance & Hinds, he did say the big radius 2-2 will be available soon for our bikes
