valves seem noisy

I put the new tappets in and new pusrods and it seemed to fix the problem. The vales seem a little noisy to me, but they are now making the same sound all the time. I ask a couple of BDM owners and they said thats just how the motors sound. Also i did use the 3 turns on the news instead of four.

I had a bent pushrod (my fault while adjusting them) and the valve did get bend too...

Any idea how/why yours got bent?

I take it you had no more problems since?

The next thing is who has more compression? If it's way off, noise. If they are even, then this concurs, 'most motors sound like that.'

Only your psi knows for sure.
