This topic seems to pop up now and then and there are some excellent tutorials posted here but like a lot of things to do with these bikes what works for one bike may not work for the other.
I've done a few can changes and have gone back to stock for the time being.
Adjusting the valves via the method posted on the ss notes page finally have me a reasonably quiet valve train.
Has anyone else tried both methods back to back with different results?
I'm betting that finding that sweet spot varies a bit between bikes.
