V/H Big Radius Pipes

I want to add exhaust to my 2008 RB. I want this beast to be loud and very intimidating. Which would be louder, the 2 into 1 V/H Big Radius or the 2 into 2 V/H Big Radius Pipes? Also, I would like to purchase the accessories to make it a 2 up for my wife and I. I need the seat, 18"sissy bar with pad and passenger pegs. Advice would be greatly appreciated.

AIRHAWK PILLION PAD!!!!!!! My wife is in love with that. She hated long rides because her butt would get sore, but after we got the Airhawk, she hasn't had a problem since. Kind of $$$ but worth not hearing complaints.

2 into 1 vance and hines are great on the ridge look great and sound good. but the performance is really their. if you want more sound just modify the baffle. you'll get more sound and better performance. i just did it from a recent forum. the way bigdogtech1 and trainguy said worked out great.......just alittle quality time with the dog:cheers::2thumbs::cheers:

Either one of these without the baffles would be loud and intimidating. You will probably get some decel popping on either without baffles and probably more with the 2 into 1. But if you want loud, who cares.

I would skip on the vance&hines. Everyone has them now. I have the 2 into 2 (no Baffel) and I love them. But when I bought them in 04 very few were running them. I'm debating on making a change this year.

Agree with this statement. I had stock 2-1 pipes on my pup when I got it. Changed to the VH 2-2. I like the pipes but nothing special about them when parked around other bikes and it seems like every other bike has them.

I will be putting them up for sale in the near future.

Not many pipes are fully shielded. The V&H 2 into 1 is a great pipe. Torque, sound and looks. The V&H 2 into 2 I still fully shielded but not as much HP made in these pipes. Remember a non-shielded pipe will turn blue, black and red over time in normal running conditions with perfect jetting. So what are you looking for? Looks, power, all around performance? Lots of choices. Call or PM me for more advice if you like. 1-877-213-0062.

okay, okay, since thses pipes have become too common, I don't blame you guys for looking for something different from all the other belly buttons out there. That being said, how about $92.36 for your "yesterdays news" VH 2-n-2? :D

2+2 may be common, but the look is hard to beat. I just installed them (THANKS BIGDOGSARGE!) on my ride. They look and sound fantastic with thunder city baffles. Very little pop on decel and have a deep, nasty sound. Love 'em.:2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs:
