V&H Big Radius pipes drag bad

I could use some advice on cutting down V&H Big Radius pipes, they drag to the point of being unsafe. I really don’t want to wreck them as I can’t afford to replace right now. Have access to some shop tools, power portable bandsaw. How much and what angle should I TRY and retain? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks -J

My friend shortened his by 2-3 inches on a K9, he likes it and I think it actually looks better.

Old style? my ones are quite high... I had to install passenger peg´s risers!

Modify the bracket?
