V&H Big Radius 2 into 1 for 02 Pitbull

Has anyone fitted this onto their 02 model Pitbull? I can't seem to find anyone that sells the exhaust for my year bike. I keep getting told that this was only made for 05 model years and newer. I'd be sure it would fit the 02 with a little bracket modification perhaps. Any help would be appreciated!

If you call V&H they should be able to point you in the right direction. I have heard of others doing this. FWIW. :2thumbs: It wouldn't surprise me if a bracket mod would be needed. Yours is a LSD....

Thanks, called V and H and they are the ones who said they didn't make one for the 02, they only make them for the 05 and up. Called BD in St. Louis and Ryan said they've put some on the 02's but some bracket modification was necessary. They have both left and right side drive part numbers so I just want to know if anyone has done it and if so, what mod's were needed to get it to fit the 02 model.

On an 02 I think you can just use softtail pipes.

Okay, well I'll be a guinea pig! Ordered the pipe today, should get it next week. I'll post up some pics and hopefully sound clips once it's installed! Let the games begin!

Those are my stock pipes, if you want them I'll sell them, but I'd assume your bike came with the same pipes.

Art, the 03 models switched to the Kerker pipe that I really liked a lot. They used this pipe till the change in 05.

Aha! Gotcha Raywood! Thanks for setting me straight! I have alot to learn about the differences in the bikes by year and model! I'll post up pics of the install of the new pipe though!

I talked to BD about putting BR 2-2 on my 04 Bulldog. They said it wouldn't work because they are different frames. That might just mean some bracket work. I'm curious to see how it goes. I'm in desperate need of new pipes. Would also be interested in yours if they would fit my dog.

Thanks Pig! Was thinking there couldn't be that much difference! Have a master fabricator here locally so shouldn't be much of a problem!
