Ordered my new pipes. Be here in one week. I will be installing them myself and can't wait ! I really like the looks of the supertrapp originals but I just don't like the sound or volume of sound either. :whoop:

Throw you some thunder city baffles on 'em before you put em on. I bet you'll like the sound then

Already purchased thunder baffle have them sitting on the bench waiting for installation. Wondering if they're louder than the stock v h 2 into 2baffle or just a better sound. I have v h 2 into 2 with stock baffle on my night train and really like them.

Where did you get them...and do they have any more (that'll fit on '09 K9)?
Be sure and post before & after pics, along with any helpful hints on install!

The thunder baffles will be louder with a different sound. You'll be able to tell that they're not stock

The V&H 2-2 are nice I like them a lot. The stock V&H baffles aren't bad but they weren't loud enough for me so I cut them in half. Sounded better but I also tried running them without the baffles. That lasted less than a day. No baffles sounds like crap and too much decel popping. The Big City Thunder baffles give the 2-2 a nice deep sound, much better than the stock V&H baffles. No regrets here.
