V&H 2-1 cracked exhaust bracket!

Can anyone point me in the right direction...My exhaust bracket of my V&H 2-1 big radius on my 08 K-9 cracked...Any solutions? I think it just got hot and the vibration cracked her...or the bracket was made out of cheap metal...

mine cracked twice....welded it the 1st time lasted a week... 2nd time i welded the crack and welded in a little gusset in the corner (underside) still working

Not uncommon on the V&H 2 into 2 exhaust as well. Bro2 had his welded and then painted it black.

I have a V&H 2-1 and have no issues...............yet

Did the same to a friends K9, welded the crack and made a gusset and welded it to the under side of the bracket between the bolts. No more issues.

after mine broke twice, put tryangle brakets in , ground it down paint it black! now no problums

My fix to a cracked exhaust bracket...

Welded a brace inside the angle, then re-chromed...Why couldnt V&H do that from the start? :loony:
