Upshifting to 2nd

Had some trouble and could not figure it out. Took it to local shop here and they draining and replaced tranny fluid 2 times. Says it looked like it was more like grease than tranny fluid. I had it changed last year so not sure why it was so bad. Also adjusted linkage and now it seems to shift up into 2nd where it was having trouble before. Glad the tranny wasnt shot...:2thumbs:

Thats very weird, like grease? What fluid did you use?

Hell if I know what was used...But it was done by a Big Dog dealer so it should have been fine. I go pick her up today...we will see how she runs. :flag:

redline possibly? cept a wrench should know what that looks like.

my question is "did he put something back in that is too light weight?" might want to verify what he used.

It runs fine now. They changed the tranny oil 2 times. Replace with Amsoil. They said the old stuff looked like pepto bismol. Only thinkg I can think of is water inside? They did not think it was water though.

pepto bismol = Redline Shock proof. Pretty good stuff if changed on a regular.
