UPGRADE THE HEADLITE

Been doing some nite riding lately and the headlite on my 08 Mutt just is not bright enough, it is the stock 55/60 watt bulb. I was thinking of putting in a brightbulb but 1st not sure how the headlite opens up and 2nd what type of bulb is it and how bright can i go before i have either e heat or a fuse problem. THANKS

You cant run any other Halogen bulb other than a 55/65 watt. The 80/100 watt bulbs will take out the EHC and/or over heat the small wiring running up to the headlight.

I got an 08 ridge and went with Jakes 6000 hid kit couldn't be happier.. And it really lights chit up. Took about 20 min to change over and still have ehc.also got wireplus just no time to install.one of the best upgrades and cheapest so far. Good luck just my 2cts

Jake must of posted at same time. Deff like the hid now just need to put in the wireplus.it's just to f@&$n hot out for wireing (Phoenix). Peace
