UPDATE ON CHATTER PROBLEM

well i took the bike back in the third time for this chatter problem we discussed earlier. They seem to think it is the rear pully, the teeth are sharp on one side and the teflon coating is worn off the teeth. they belive the belt is trying to jump on the teeth.
Hopefully they are correct and can get the problem fixed.
i'm also having the forks seals replaced (2nd time).
checking a leak above the primary.
checking a leak around the trans.
I'll update the chatter situation when i get the bike back next week.
Hopefully Mike and the crew will be able to solve the problem for me and get "skully" to ride like the limo it use to.

Skully, I have an 05 also and had that problem. Have them check your tranny sprocket nut. Mine backed off wearing against the bolts that are supposed to hold it in place.
As for the primary and tranny leak sounds like starter to me. They will leak under the clutch area of the primary.
My sprocket and belt were replace at the 40,000 mile point but never had the clattering just the squealing.
Get the drive sprocket checked though:
