Guys,

Does anyone carries a Tyre Repair Kit when traveling? Which ones would be the best to carry in the tool bag?

Something like this maybe?

1. Gryyp Turn and Go Tire Puncture Repair Kit for ATV and Trail Bikes | TV02228 | J&P Cycles

2. 4. What about this one with its air compressor included? http://www.jpcycles.com/product/246-073?source=mybuys&green=D901A748-29A4-57E6-0164-ECC18B0A4330

Thanks for your advice

I just bought a Stop N Go tire repair kit with the mini air compressor at the Int'l. Motorcycle Show NYC. Haven't used it yet. The guy at the Stop N Go booth took the time to show me how to do it twice. Looks very simple to do and no glue.

I use the same as Nukeranger and it works great. I use it on my Trailer about two years ago and it still plugged. I used it on my Truck and it still working. The only problem was with them C2 cartridges. They didn't do shit to air up the truck tire.. I do carry a portable air compressor in the truck.

One of the old ones.
To tour, I carry a similar tire repair kit, mini compressor, an H-4 bulb, clutch cable and spare ECH on each trip, along with a usual array of tools. My riding buddy Blacktopper carries more tools, spark plugs and the like...we've used the tools a few times, and thankfully none of the other stuff. Clutch cable also is handy to thrash the dog when he misbehaves....
Tools go in the lower tool bag...all the rest in the T-bag, which doubles as a backrest.

I used the plug set twice in a day last year, good thing to carry. The CO2 cartridges may not be sufficient for a big truck but good for a bike and soooo much easier and lighter to carry.

Franco,

I carry one not sure of the name or if it matters just so they come with the adapter and 3 CO2 cartridges. Other than that it contains the plugs and insert tool. in a little bag, not much to it. My experience with those little compressors is not very good; I've had several, my lungs are stronger
