Two spring plates?

Energy One

Good morning everyone.
I have a problem with the clutch lever being too stiff and hard to pull in. I opened the clutch and found two pressure -curved in- plates, is this standard or normal?

Is this a lock up clutch but missing the ball bearings or is it a standard clutch missing the coil springs?

Photo #2, is it missing the bolts or pins? If yes, what are the pins for?

Thank you.

Not normal. Call it a poor man's heavier spring rate redo.

This is wave plate style, non-locker. A locker has counterweights and that means more parts so no, nothing is missing to me.

In photo #2, is it missing...
Got me on this one. Why would you need pins, if you said all is wrong is a hard pull? It goes back together with what you have minus the one wave plate.

Welcome from NJ Jim,
I'm not sure this applies to your specific issue but it may help.

What fluid are u running in primary? I have an 04 Pitbull I gotta run standard primary fluid in or clutch slips. 04 Chopper uses regular trans fluid with no slip. Most use the trans fluid. Jmo

Started with spectro and now changed to bel ray. Both non-synthetic. Was considering the trick shift auto trans fluid, people seem to like that one , but I'm pretty confident my problem is not fluid related ...it's too " one off"
